Was Hogwarts always your first choice of school? Have you ever wondered what it'd be like if you went to a different school for wizardry? Well, we'd like you to imagine what your uniforms would look like!

This week's theme is School Uniforms.

First, choose a school. It can either be Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, or a school of your own creation--as long as it is not Hogwarts! Then it's your task to create their school uniforms. Take into consideration where your school is located. You don't want to wear anything that will be too hot for a more tropically located school, nor would you want anything too revealing for a colder climate.

Some rules for this challenge 1.) No HOGWARTS uniforms. 2.) Let us know what school you chose. If it is a school of your own creation, let us know where it's located and a bit about the school! 3.) Bonus points may be awarded for particularly creative uniforms or uniforms that really fit the school's location.

Each member may only submit one avatar, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the challenge rules and theme shall be awarded 10 House Points!

Hi I decided to do what my impression of Beauxbaton's uniforms would look like with my limited wardrobe. Anyways the cloak added to it is for when it gets cold since France has varying temperatures.

I choose Durmstrang.

Hi! I did a version of the Mahoutokoro school uniform. It's fairly formal, but seeing as I'm no expert in Japanese culture, I just kinda went for it.

Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and Hogwarts are all located in areas with severe winters. Tiring of not being able to go outdoors in the frigid months, I have decided to locate a new school in a warmer climate. Our delegation initially looked at islands available around Hawaii and South America, but eventually settled on the Island Atauro. The school will be named Sakti, which means Magical in Indonesian. Atauro Island is a small island situated 25 km north of Dili, East Timor, on the extinct Wetar segment of the volcanic Inner Banda Arc, between the Indonesian islands of Alor and Wetar, and near Northern Australia. Should be nice and warm most of the year. Shirts are white with the sleeve from the house colour or just the one colour. Pants dark blue or black, knee length (or longer); Girls can wear knee length skirts (or longer) and of course, robes available, but because of the warm weather, optional.

The school is located near one of the lakes and has been enchanted to look like a thick forest. For muggles this area is restricted as a protective landmark for the conservation of the sacred Oak trees. The location helped give the school its name since this particular area has been considered sacred place for many generations of Druids and old magic.

Constantly surrounded by trees the weather tends to be cooler. It is however required that when walking outside students must wear the cloaks to blend in with the forest. Only outings to the tourist area allows for none cloaks/no uniforms outfits as students need to blend in with the muggles until the small magical village nearby.

Milpera which means gathering of people in an aboriginal dialect, is located within Uluru in Australia's Northern Territory. Many muggle tourists still visit Uluru but they are not permitted to enter as it is sacred to the aboriginal tribes that live in the area. Milpera teaches it's students, which come from Australia, New Zealand and even parts of Asia, natural magic like herbology, care of magical creatures and potions. They also focus on ancient runes for those that are interested.

Fade is dressed as a student who would attend a rural Japanese wizarding school. On rainy days the students are permitted the use of a rain repelling hood. Instead of being assigned separate houses, probably due the the relatively small class sizes, the students are considered one unanimous school unit. They wear arm bands associated with their year rather than a specific house and earn points along the same lines. Fade would also be expected to keep his metamorphmagus abilities under constant control, even to the extent of keeping his hair a neutral dark color at all times while class was in session.

While Salem is the most well known of the North American schools of wizardry, there are others. Deep in the Confusion mountains of Utah hides the Havasupai school of the Arcane, Samantha's school before her family moved to the British Isles.
While the climate is hot and dry in the summer, freezing winters and frequent dust storms,(not to mention scorpions and venomous reptiles) make boots and long pants recommended attire for all genders. Ankle length dusters serve as a practical alternative to robes for outdoor wear in the rugged wilderness.

Tropical location. Tropicana, north of the Fijian islands. Lots of butterflies and other insects that can either sooth or bite.

The school i choose is Clearside. It is a school i created, it is located in Canada on an island by the water! It is a very earthy school, specializes in Mother Nature. The uniform can be personalized it has to consist of 3 major atributes: Women wear Skirts and or Dresses, Each uniform has to have flowers, leaves or branches, and last but not least each unoiform has to have pink and cream to match the school logo!

Logo is a Pink and Cream rose.

They may look delicate, and be famous for their coral-pink capes, but the students of Mahoutokoro are formidable opponents, especially with potions. (They're a bit venerable to river trolls, though.)

Rowan, Gryffindor

Gwen is from a small town in Ireland. Because of her muggle mother she has been to town a lot and sees the kids there who go to the private school near by. She always wondered what it would be like to attend a muggle school. What she didn't know was that they have bland uniforms and your hair must be pulled up in a bun. They also are very strict about the color of a person's hair so she had to dye it darker brown. This isn't gonna last long. (btw - apparently the mascot is a scottie dog and they have a real live one on the grounds - it has taken to following Gwen around)

Had I not chosen to come to Hogwarts, I most likely would have followed in my father's footsteps and attended Durmstrang. The title of legacy would be an interesting one to carry, especially when I join Durmstrang's Quidditch Team. I imagine that as a member of one of the best Quidditch teams in the division, I would bare the formal uniform more often than most students do in their entire academic life at Durmstrang.

She's from a school in Jordan, north of it is Syria. It's very dry in summer and has cool winters. The school is named Magic of Bear. Sometimes it can be unsafe so they have an emergency basement under the school in case of attacks. No muggles can find it due to some security spells. Not many plants grow there.

Beauxbâtons student France can be pretty cold, here's why the coat/robe which can be taken off as well. And the beret because Froggy ^^ Boys and girls wear the same uniform, though they can switch to skirts and shorts in warmer days.
